Cookie Policy
Last updated
This Cookie Policy explains how Fluxberry ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies, such as browser local storage, on fluxberry.in. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local storage works in a similar way but stays on your device and is not sent with every request. Both let a site remember things between pages and visits.
What we use
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not let advertisers track you on Fluxberry.
Strictly necessary
These keep you signed in and keep your account secure. The site cannot work properly without them, so they cannot be switched off.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
__session | Clerk, our sign-in provider | Holds your short-lived sign-in token | Session, refreshed about every minute |
__client_uat | Clerk | Records when you last signed in or out, so the app knows whether to check your session | Up to 1 year |
__client | Clerk, on its own sign-in domain | Keeps you signed in between visits | Up to 1 year, or until you sign out |
Clerk may also set short-lived cookies during sign-in to protect against bots and to complete the sign-in handshake.
Functional (local storage)
These remember choices you make inside the app. They stay in your browser and are not used for tracking.
| Name | Purpose |
|---|---|
fluxberry_workspace_id | Remembers which workspace you last opened |
fluxberry:new-job-draft-id | Keeps the job you are writing as a draft while you create it (cleared when you close the tab) |
Analytics
Public careers pages hosted on Fluxberry use PostHog, a product analytics service, to count page views so that the hiring company and we can see how often careers pages are visited. PostHog stores an identifier in a first-party cookie and in local storage named ph_<project key>_posthog, which lasts up to 1 year. Our marketing pages and the Fluxberry app do not run PostHog in the browser.
Careers pages that a company embeds on its own website through our embed code do not use PostHog.
Emails
Recruiting outreach emails sent through Fluxberry's Talent Sourcing contain a small image that tells the sender whether the email was opened. You can block this by turning off automatic image loading in your email app.
How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in. Blocking the PostHog cookie does not affect how careers pages work. You can also clear local storage by clearing your browser's site data for fluxberry.in.
Changes
If we add or change the cookies we use, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
